With its ever-growing capabilities in clinical development, acceptance of Indian clinical data by USFDA/EMEA and R&D collaborations with US and EU companies, India is all set to make its mark in the global arena for clinical trials.

 

Opportunity Ahead

        50,000 job openings in India by 2010. It has been predicted that by 2010, the industry will spend around US $250-$300 million on clinical trials in India. McKinsey estimates much higher figure of US$1-1.5 billion 2,50,000 vacancies available worldwide.
